June of this year marks the 22nd annual 'Work Safety Month', and Banfert is closely aligning with the theme of 'everyone speaks safety, everyone will emergency' by launching various activities to promote work safety.
Let us sound the horn for 'Work Safety Month'.
On 31st May, the Banfert 2023 Work Safety Month Training and Theme Activity Launching Ceremony was held in the Changsha Headquarter Lecture Hall. During the ceremony, the Work Safety Law was promulgated, and the specific work for 'Work Safety Month' was arranged and deployed, with a focus on explaining the eight countermeasures.
Large-scale investigation and rectification of potential safety hazards.
From May to June, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Li Xinxiong, conducted a significant investigation and remediation of potential safety hazards at the four major production bases located in Changsha, Hunan; Suqian, Jiangsu; Linyi, Shandong; and Xinfeng, Guangdong. The individual primarily responsible for enforcing the 'five leaders' policy takes the lead in conducting risk assessments for the company's major sources of risk, as well as conducting special assessments for fire and other hazardous operations.
On 16th June, the EHS Management Department organised a safety training session on the physical and chemical properties of hazardous chemicals, as well as emergency disposal methods. The training was attended by Chairman Li Xinxiong and all staff.
On June 17th, Banfert organised a safety meeting for the group company. Chairman Li Xinxiong analysed the current safety situation and discussed the laws and regulations, main responsibility, and safety measures of the company.
On the evening of 20 June, Banfert invited Li Own, the deputy director of the Industrial Development Bureau (Safety Production Supervision Bureau) and director of the Safety Committee Office of Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, to share and interpret cases of fire accidents, limited space operation accidents, and other incidents related to safety education. The aim was to highlight the importance of safety in front-line positions, including special operations. The 'Month of Work Safety' initiative has enhanced the company's safety measures in the areas of laws and regulations, pressures and responsibilities, and implementation of safety measures. By conducting the 'Safety Production Month' activity, the company has fostered a strong culture of enhancing awareness of safety responsibility, promoting safety development, and strengthening the red line. This has resulted in increased safety consciousness among all employees.
